ORC manufactures a selection of adhesive-backed industrial grade "Floor Tapes" with large easy-to-read black graphics on a yellow background for Fractional (optional colors available) to tackle large and repeating measuring applications. They are made of durable materials for chemical and abrasion resistance and are back-coated with a 1 1/2 mil thick adhesive for rough textured surfaces (i.e. pre-sealed cement and vinyl floors). Rules are numbered every foot with 1-inch dual graduations in between, and read vertically up for omni-directional use. They are a nominal
2"(1 7/8" W) or 4" wide and come in segments of 6' 3" (75") long for ease of mounting. 16 Foot lengths come in (4pc x 4ft sections). Note that the 2" Florit™ fractional Floor Tape has a unique way of emphasizing in between inch graduations (3”, 6” and 9”). The domino “dot” graphics give quick reference to the 1/4 foot graduations and eliminate the possible misreads between them. Also available are metric tapes 2” wide with centimeter grads with White/Black graphics and come in 2 meter segments.
Floor Tapes can also be used for vertical applications such as liquid containers or staff gauges. Also, check our other product selections for rules that might be more appropriate for these applications.
